The Delaware County Regional Airport – Muncie (MIE) is proud to welcome Amazing Joe’s Restaurant as the newest dining option located inside the airport terminal. Whether you are a pilot, tenant, or visitor, Amazing Joe’s offers a great place to relax and enjoy a meal while at the airport.

ATTENTION IMPORTANT PILOT INFORMATION:  Pilots and flight crews should enter the building using the east side entrance, located at the front door of Amazing Joe’s Restaurant. This entrance provides the most direct access from the ramp to the restaurant.

  • FAA- Federal Aviation Administration- Airport Improvement Program award of $2,147,211.00 for Wildlife and Security Fence Construction Completion.
  • FAA- Federal Aviation Administration- Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act Grant to Construct Aviation Gasoline Fuel System – Design and Construction; Replace Air Traffic Control Tower Equipment – Design and Construction for the amount of $977,977.00.This grant is going to allow the Airport Authority the ability to replace and update aging equipment in the Air Traffic Control Tower to meet the growing needs of the Aviation Community, and to Install a new Self Fueling Island for the General Aviation Community to allow pilots the ability to get fuel at all hours at MIE.

Airport Authority Board Meetings

Airport Authority board meetings are the second Monday of every month at 6:30 pm at the Delaware County Airport Terminal, 401 W. Carl Simmons Drive.
